Mr G – Road Traffic Accident

Mr G was the driver of a car and had slowed down to make a turning. Mr G’s car was hit by an emergency vehicle, rendering the vehicle a write-off.

Mr G sustained soft tissue and psychological injuries, which the medical expert predicted would take over 12 months to fully resolve.

Despite the seemingly straightforward nature of the accident, the defendant insurance company failed to resolve the claim within the stipulated time frames.  Lex advised Mr G that his claim had very high prospects of success and that proceedings should be issued in the county court to avoid further delays.

Shortly after court documents being served, the defendant insurers proposed an offer to settle which Lex negotiated to an amount which was reasonable and which Mr G was happy to settle for.
